OVERVIEW:  Bonny Offshore Terminal is operated by the Shell Petroleum Development Company and consists of crude loading platform (CLP) and three SPMs; SPMs 1 and 2 loading crude fed by a submarine pipeline and SPM 3 discharging crude via pipeline to a PLEM.
LOCATION:  Bonny Oil & Gas Terminal is located on swampy terrain on Bonny Island in the Eastern Division of the RAEC operational area, 48 km. SE of Port Harcourt. SPMs 1 and 2 are 13.3 n.m. and SPM 3 16.1 n.m. from the nearest land and entrance to the Bonny River.
PORT LIMITS:  Radius 5,000 m. from each of the following positions:
  • 04° 11.20′ N, 007° 14.20′ E, CLP.
  • 04° 10.30′ N, 007° 13.70′ E, SPM 1.
  • 04° 10.40′ N, 007° 14.60′ E, SPM 2.
  • 04° 06.60′ N, 007° 07.50′ E, SPM 3.
