OVERVIEW:
The port comprises two main areas; the multipurpose Benicia Terminal and Valero Benicia
Refinery. Benicia Terminal handles breakbulk, dry bulk and Ro-Ro cargo. Valero Benicia
Refinery handles petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, aviation fuel and
asphalt.
LOCATION:
On north shore of the Carquinez Strait, between San Pablo Bay and Grizzly Bay, 24
miles NE of San Francisco and 46 miles WNW of Stockton.
