Centrally located on the coast of Sudan, Port Sudan comprises North Port, South Port and Green Harbour. It handles general cargo, livestock, cement, containers, oil products, wheat, pesticides and cars. Al-Khair Terminal, 1.5 n.m. SE of the entrance to the port of Port Sudan, handles petroleum and LPG.
