Port info. updated for Pecem, Brazil, incl. max. size and approach details

Pecem is a jetty port located in central coastal Brazil and handles containers, iron ore, bulk fertilisers, breakbulk, general cargo, petroleum products, CNG and LNG. Berths protected by an L-shaped breakwater, total length 1,768 m.

The port is connected to the Fortaleza-Guamare (Gasfor) pipeline.

The Port Authority Cearaportos is a subsidiary of Ceara State Government.
