Panama ports: Coco Solo North, Colon, Cristobal and Manzanillo all newly amended
One of four port areas at the Atlantic end of the Panama Canal. Primary facility is Colon Container Terminal, a subsidiary of Evergreen Group of Taiwan. Central American Line SA has a tank storage facility within the area. Manzanillo and Panama Free Zone (Colon City) are adjacent to the port.

The port also has rail links. Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT) is primarily a container transshipment facility servicing major line-haul carriers and many feeder services with connections throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. General cargo and Ro-Ro is also handled.
