AOSZA

OVERVIEW:  Kwanda petrochemical supply base. The port was initially utilised to accommodate supply vessels. Following expansion, the port now includes the Angola LNG (ALNG) terminal
The port is under the authority of the Harbour Master, and is managed by Kwanda Lda, a partnership between Sonangol and Hersent Delong Ltd, which itself is a 100% subsidiary of Saipem SA.
LOCATION:  Angola's most northerly coastal city, in the Zaire province, close to the mouth of the Congo River. 170 n.m. NNW of Luanda.
