OVERVIEW:
Ecuador's principal banana port is an open port with access channel of 4.5 n.m. from
the
Pacific Ocean. The port mainly handles reefer vessels loading bananas in bulk and
reefer
containers
The port works throughout 24 hours.
LOCATION:
On the southern coast of Ecuador in the Gulf of Guayaquil, 60 n.m. south of
Guayaquil.
