OVERVIEW:
A river port handling most types of cargo including containers, project, dry bulk
chemicals, petroleum products and liquefied gas. In addition to berths along the river
bank, transshippment areas are available nearby.
LOCATION:
Facilities are located along the shores of the Thi Vai River and its branches, 22
km. NNW of Vung Tau and 50 km. SE of Ho Chi Minh City.
PORT LIMITS:
Generally defined as the area to the east of the river channel centreline between
the following lines:
Northern Limit:
- 10° 36.76′ N, 107° 00.85′ E
- 10° 36.48′ N, 107° 00.63′ E.
Southern Limit:
- 10° 29.71′ N, 107° 58.32′ E
- 10° 29.68′ N, 107° 00.68′ E.
Some port facilities are located on branches of the river to the east or west of this
area.
