OVERVIEW:
A small port. Handles breakbulk and fish and protected by a concrete breakwater.
The twin ports of Bekker and Meeruse operate as a single port trading as Tallinn Bekker
Port Ltd. The port remains ice-free throughout the year.
LOCATION:
In the Bay of Kopli on the Gulf of Finland coast, immediately adjacent to and south
of the port of Bekker and 5 km. WNW of Tallinn.
PORT LIMITS:
Bounded by the coastline and the following approximate coordinates:
- 59° 27.09′ N, 024° 40.14′ E
- 59° 27.05′ N, 024° 40.00′ E
- 59° 26.92′ N, 024° 39.34′ E
- 59° 26.81′ N, 024° 39.57′ E
- 59° 26.88′ N, 024° 40.36′ E
- 59° 27.01′ N, 024° 40.42′ E.
