OVERVIEW:
The principal function of Terminal Oceanico Galp Leca's (TOGL) SPM is the import of
crude oil. Depth 28.52–33.17 m. (CD).
TOGL consists of an SPM of the CALM type, which allows the oil tankers to swing through
360° around the stationary buoy.
The monobuoy has a cylindrical body, diameter 12.0 m. and height 6.50 m. with draft
4.8 m., painted black/yellow and provided with a skirt diameter 16.8 m. secured to
the seabed by six groups of two anchor legs.
LOCATION:
The SPM is approx. 1.8 n.m. offshore NW of the port.
