OVERVIEW:
Within port of Fremantle port limits. Kwinana has several terminals with jetty berths
protected from the south to NW by Garden Island. Cargoes handled include bulk ore,
LPG, petroleum products, phosphoric acid, caustic soda and bulk grain.
LOCATION:
On the eastern shore of Cockburn Sound in the SW corner of Australia. At the port's
northern limits is Fremantle 7.0 n.m. and southern limits Rockingham 1.5 n.m. Garden
Island is a little under 3 n.m. west of Kwinana.
