OVERVIEW:  A naturally-sheltered river port near the entrance to the Caledonian Canal. Cargoes handled include dry and liquid bulk, project, offshore, heavy-lift and breakbulk. Cruise vessels can be accommodated at some cargo berths and there is also a 150-berth marina.
LOCATION:  At the mouth of the River Ness and at the head of the Moray Firth, 135 km. WNW of Aberdeen and 180 km. NNW of Edinburgh.
