OVERVIEW:  Hastings is the administrative and commercial centre of Western Port Bay and the principal industrial area of Mornington Peninsula. The port comprises Long Island Point, Crib Point and Stony Point. Jetties and approaches are owned by the State of Victoria through the Port of Hastings Development Authority.
LOCATION:  On the western shore of Western Port Bay, on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, southern Australia, 30 n.m. SE of Melbourne.
