OVERVIEW:  A sheltered port handling mainly fishing and leisure craft. A commercial vessel proceeding to the port must have received authorisation from the Port Authority in advance as berth preparation is required. Concarneau is under the jurisdiction of Departement du Finistere
LOCATION:  On the eastern shore of Baie de la Foret in southern Brittany, 70 km. SE of Brest and 190 km. WNW of Nantes.
