OVERVIEW:  The only port in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Comprises Middle Port, Southern (Industrial) Port and Aqaba New Port
Middle Port handles cement, containers, livestock, rice, vegetable oil and passenger vessels. Southern (Industrial) Port handles bulk, chemicals, fertiliser, LPG, livestock, potash, salt, sulphur and timber. Aqaba New Port development just immediately south of the Southern Port is to replace the original Main Port.
Port services, such as VTS, pilotage, tugs, garbage collection and fresh water supply are provided by Aqaba Port Marine Services Company.
LOCATION:  Southern Jordan on the north shore of the Gulf of Aqaba, on the Red Sea.
