OVERVIEW:  The only port in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Comprises Main Port, Middle Port and Southern (Industrial) Port
Main Port handles breakbulk, general, bulk grain and bulk phosphate.
Middle Port handles cement, containers, livestock, rice, vegetable oil and passenger vessels.
Southern (Industrial) Port handles bulk, chemicals, fertiliser, LPG, livestock, potash, salt, sulphur and timber. Development of Aqaba New Port underway just immediately south of the Southern Port.
LOCATION:  Southern Jordan on the north shore of the Gulf of Aqaba, on the Red Sea.
Main Port Zone: Located close to the city of Aqaba.
Middle Port Zone: Located 3.0 n.m. south of the Main Port Zone.
Southern Port Zone: Located 9.0 n.m. south of the Main Port Zone.
