Iranian ports Chah-Bahar, Bandar Abbas, Bandar Mahshahr and Amirabad updated

Chah-Bahar

Chah-Bahar comprises of Shahid Beheshti and Shahid Kalantari, the most important civil ports in the province of Sistan and Baluchistan. The ports handle general cargo, bulk, containers and tankers.

Located in SE Iran, facing the Sea of Oman. The Shahid Beheshti and Kalantari Jetties are situated on the eastern shore of Chah-Bahar Bay, 112 km. from Iran-Pakistan border.

Bandar Abbas

The port city and capital of Hormozgan Province, Bandar Abbas occupies a strategic position on the Straits of Hormuz and it is the location of the main base of the Iranian Navy. Comprises the old port, known as Bandar Shahid Bahonar, and the new port, Bandar Shahid Rejaie Special Economic Zone. Handles dry and liquid bulk, containers, general and Ro-Ro.

Amirabad

The Amirabad Port Special Economic Zone is a multipurpose port sheltered by breakwaters. The port operates 24 hours a day and is located on the SE shore of the Caspian Sea, in Mazandaran Province. Located 34 km. NE of Sari, the province centre. Neka Oil Terminal is located approx. 5 n.m. west of Amirabad Port.
