Vitoria is a river port handling coffee, containers, granite, pig iron, steel products, sugar, wood pulp, cars, malt, fertilisers and general cargo. It is located on Vitoria Island (Brazil), in Espirito Santo state, on the mid-east coast of the country, 220 n.m. NE of Rio de Janeiro. Vitoria is on the north side of the river across the channel from Capuaba on the mainland.
