The port handles dry and liquid bulk, including petroleum and vegetable oils, automobiles, containers and general cargo. The port has dry dock facilities up to 66,000 tons capacity.

Port Muhammad Bin Qasim is a major deep-water port in Pakistan, handling bulk, containers, tankers, gas carriers and general cargo. Port is accessed through a draft restricted creek and channel.
